Quietly located in the Leith Links area of Edinburgh this charming one bedroom apartment is the perfect spot for a relaxing trip to Edinburgh. Parking on street is free at all times. It has great public transport links, with frequent buses from outside the apartment into both the city centre and Ocean Terminal where you can visit the Royal Yacht and its visitor centre. The Terminal also hosts a multi-screen cinema and a wide selection of shops restaurants and bars.
The area of Leith has its own distinct character with plenty of great attractions of its own. The original harbour which dates back to the 14 century offers a wealth of lively restaurants and bars as well as independent shops, delis and contemporary art galleries. The Leith festival in June is always worth a visit.
This large and recently renovated ground floor apartment has a pretty garden area to the front. An entrance hall leads through to the rear of the property where there is a well-appointed kitchen. The thoughtfully planned kitchen area has an electric oven with a gas hob, kettle, a toaster, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, a washing machine and a good array of cutlery, crockery and glassware should guests wish to prepare a meal. A dining table placed by the large bay window in the living area will seat up to 4 people in comfort.
The spacious living area is attractively furnished with a comfortable double sofa bed provided for flexible sleeping arrangements (please note that we cannot accommodate more than 2 guests in the property) and armchair and classical furniture to create a pleasant atmosphere and a delightful space in which to relax. There is a TV with freeview and free WiFi for your use during your stay.
The double bedroom has the same relaxing atmosphere. It is furnished with a double bed and a large built in wardrobe with plenty of hanging and storage space.
The light and airy bathroom provides a spacious over bath shower with a wash hand basin and WC.
When you do decide to leave Leith and move on to the attractions of Edinburgh, you can either hop on one of Edinburgh’s frequent and reliable buses and be in the city centre in 20 minutes, or take a leisurely stroll along the mile long Leith Walk to the east end of Princes Street.
