The neighbourhood has a sophisticated, cosmopolitan yet intimate feel, with lovely local independently-owned shops, boutiques & food specialists.
This main door apartment has retained it wonderful architectural features including curved doors in the bow-ended sitting room, high ceilings with attractive cornices, sash windows and working shutters. Carefully selected furniture and original artwork provides a luxurious modern ambience.
The spectacular living room has a fireplace as its focal point around which a sofa and planter’s chairs have been placed. The hand-painted kitchen has black granite worktops and a traditional ceramic sink. High quality appliances have been fitted and include oven and hob, integrated fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, microwave, Dualit toaster and DAB radio. There is a plentiful supply of good quality crockery, glassware & cutlery and other equipment including a food processor. The kitchen has a pretty view over gardens and historic buildings, with a window seat and additional table & chairs. The travertine clad bathroom with under floor heating and has a whirlpool bath with shower over, wash hand basin and w.c. You will find a plentiful supply of top quality towels and toiletries on offer.
The apartment is decorated in late December to create a festive atmosphere for Christmas and Hogmanay guests.
