Tucked away in a quiet corner of Old Tolbooth Wynd, just off the high street this charming second floor apartment with 2 bedrooms can accommodate up to 4 guests + a baby. The property also benefits from private parking in a secure underground car park, while for those travelling by train, the back entrance to Waverley station is only 5 minute walk away.

A minutes? walk in the other direction up Old Tolbooth Wynd and through the ancient archway of the Tolbooth, and you reach the Royal mile with its tempting selection of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes as well as an array of absorbing historic buildings and medieval closes. From the Royal Mile you are within an easy walk many of Edinburgh?s favourite visitor attractions, including Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle, Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Parliament building, St Giles Cathedral, Mary King’s Close and the Camera Obscura.

The apartment is accessed from a secluded courtyard, 2 flights of stairs bring you to the front door which leads into a pleasant, light hallway with wooden floors. The living room is to your left and overlooks the paved courtyard which is attractively planted with shrubs and trees. The room is very light and airy with a high loft style ceiling and is simply furnished with a 2 seater sofa and chairs arranged around the fireplace. There is a TV with DVD player, free Wifi and an ipod docking station. Towards the rear of the room you will find a small dining table with seating for 4 guests.

Next to the living room is a small galley style kitchen with an internal window into the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, a fridge freezer, a microwave, toaster, kettle and plenty of glass, china, cutlery and cookware. There is also a washer dryer provided for your convenience.

The 2 bedrooms are situated to the rear of the apartment, the Master bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed and 2 bedside cabinets and has ample built in wardrobe space. The second bedroom has twin beds and again plenty of wardrobe space. Both rooms offer attractive views up to Calton hill.

A bathroom with bath and shower over, toilet wash hand basin and large mirror completes the accommodation.

The garage is directly below the apartment and can be accessed down 3 flights of stairs.

    A very comfortable, cosy and well-eqipped apartment, both Old Town and New Town easily accessible on foot. The place was quiet, even though it was just off the Royal Mile. Agency reacted speedily when we discovered one or two things were missing – they were there within the hour. We’d recommend this aprtment to anyone visiting Scotland’s capital. One very minor problem was the picture quality on the TV:

    We had a wonderful stay at Old Tollbooth Wynd. The flat was clean, well kept, and perfect for our family of 4. What a great location, and parking was a bonus.
    We’d definitely stay again on our next visit to Edinburgh.

    A very pleasant, modern, clean apartment. It is only a minute’s walk off the Royal Mile but also very quiet. We came with 3 small children and having an apartment was a brilliant and practical way to visit the city. With Dynamic Earth and the Castle and Museums within walking distance this is a great location. We would use EHA accommodation again without hesitation.

    We had a wonderful stay at Old Toolbooth Wynd.The flat was perfect and the location excellent. A bus stop opposite got us to our various destinations. Strolling down the Royal Mile was such a pleasure. I hope to be back next year.

    Great flat. Three of us stayed a week, and were very happy. Location fantastic for most Fringe venues. Secure parking worked brilliantly, and for guests arriving Waverley is only 5 mins away. We will stay here again.

    A lovely flat with all you need in for your stay. We are a family of four and were very comfortable during our time there. The location is amazing!Could not believe we could stay so central for the price, a real find! No need for a car, the location meant we could walk to all the tourist spots and even get a bus to the zoo. Well worth checking out.
