Second time I have stayed at this lovely, airy apartment so beautifully presented. This time I was with a friend who also loved it. Service from EHA was exemplary too, very helpful. Only one caveat : if you find stairs difficult, be aware it is on 3rd floor and as it’s a lovely Victorian building, obviously no lift.

Lovely calm apartment, very comfortable and homely. All amenities you could want including books. Situated in an excellent location in a quiet street. Just be prepared for the stairs if you have lots of luggage! Will be staying there again.

We enjoyed a week’s stay in this very comfortable, well-situated apartment. It was great to find such a nice place in our favourite district with its lovely mix of shops, restaurants and cafes. We were also very impressed by, and grateful for, the friendly and efficient service from the EHA people. We will definitely stay here again some time.

We found this to be a flat as comfortable as the other reviews describe, even missing it after we
left Edinburgh for a B & B elsewhere in Scotland. The bed was fine, not as narrow as one review implied. It was convenient for local shops, as well as
for walking and taking the bus into the
centre. The helpful service from EHA staff was greatly appreciated. One comment is that some saucepans stored in the drawer beneath the cooker might be stored more conveniently in other cupboards.

Our second stay. We love this flat for its quiet, the light rooms, the pleasant neighbourhood and the thoughtful way it has been equipped.

This apartment on top floor is really comfortable and very well equipped and nicely decorated. There is enough space even when using it for 4 persons with the extended sofa bed. Additional to the heater there are two fireplaces (with gas) which makes it very warm and lovely to sit in the living room and enjoy the many books and videos about Scotland provided by the owner. Shampoo and Shower Gel is provided too and specially made and can be bought too. The Morningside area is very calm and to the centre of the city it is a nice walk through the park (The Meadows). I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Wonderful, clean spacious one bedroom flat on third floor. It had a great sitting room with a lovely bay window, bathroom and dining room with sofa bed and small Kitchenette which was well equipped should you wish to cook a meal. Large Fridge was found in a closet in dining room. Comes with vacuum, ironing board, washing machine, but no dryer or dishwasher. Bedroom had a large cupboard and hair dryer. The bed was a full size double bed but small if used to a king size. Shops were only a 3 minute walk as was bus stop. Lots of little shops and cafes in Morningside area. It was a 30 minute walk into Princes St. The owners wrote a lovely welcoming card and a bottle of Proseco which was a lovely touch. We were there for 18 days and had 2 mid stay clean up days which was really appreciated especially when on holiday. I would definitely recommend this flat.

This is a really spacious one bedroom flat at the top (3rd floor) of a lovely purpose build row of Victorian buildings. We were there in January and were lovely and warm. the kitchen is well eqipped if you want to cook. You can walk into town or get the bus and there is also a nice walk along the canal close by. My only slight criticism would be the double bed, which is adequate but small if you are used to a king size. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
